Auburn, Ala. - On Nov. 20, 2023, Auburn Police arrested Arnold Antonio Garcia-Ruiz, age 19, from Houston, TX on a felony warrant charging him with receiving stolen property first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police locating a stolen vehicle in the area of Cox Road on Nov. 20. Officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted Arnold Antonio Garcia-Ruiz as the driver and sole occupant. During the traffic stop, officers confirmed that the vehicle was reported stolen in Texas. After further investigation, Garcia-Ruiz was charged with receiving stolen property first degree.

Garcia-Ruiz was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on an $5,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
